Back again for more advice from the most knowledgeable Polk fans on the planet.
Just purchased a new Halo A21, that will replace a Rotel RB-990BX. Thinking ahead to replacing a Rotel RTC-940AX pre/tuner. Onboard tuner is not a factor in this decision.
Sources are CD, vinyl, and Spotify (Premium; not HiFi), through external Pro-ject DAC Box S2+ and MoFi StudioPhono. Replacing the DAC and phono stage with onboard facilities also not a factor. ICs, speaker, and USB cables are Zavfino's OCC lines. Dreadnought in the speaker circuit. Powered subwoofer. And, Soundcraftsmen EQ that I'd like to keep using.
Room is not big (12x15), has sound treatments, is in an apartment (low/medium volumes are typical), and listening position is 7-8 ft. from speakers that are 6 ft. apart.
Goal: You know -- great sound, clarity -- not sure soundstage needs to get any bigger than it already is.
Sorry for the long post, but figure details are important. Thanks for your input.

Depending on budget, a used Parasound JC2 can be found for around $2K these days. Pairs well with an A21.
