I stack RT5 on top of RTi70, Silk unplugged. ;););)

I have also stacked a RT35i on top of the 70. The RT5 works alot better. Especially with the silk unplugged.

Actually the RT5 looks good on top of the RTi70 (to me, in person)

The RT35i matches better.......but it sounds like crap.....

The RT5 is much better in the highs than the RT35i, RTi70, Etc....
So much smoother, calmer, more refined. Woooooooo me LIKE!

I split the signal at the amps.

The point of stacking is to get rid of the weaknesses of your other components.

Obviously, stacking a RTi38 on top of a RTi150 - although adding another tweeter and midbass, wouldnt yield to much of a difference.

The RT35i and RTi70, with both tweeters on sound pretty good. But NOTHING like the RT5 handling the highs and some mids, with the RTi70 midbasses on only. It is just killer.

If you want to stack, I recomend using a DIFFERENT series, as many as you can and find which one you like the best. They all make it sound different, better or worse is up to you to decide on.

I listened with the RT35i on top for a while, then I switched to the RT5 (looks aside), it friggin rocks.

Stacking is easy, turn the bookshelf upside down --- then run preouts to amp, then split the signal......I had as many as 3 splits at one time, when I biamped the RTi70 and powered the RT5.

Pretty simple. Try it out, I recomend it honestly.
