bump as most likely didnt see this due to the constant spamming attacks of last night (that are continuing this morning)"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." There are a couple more videos with Nelson from that channel"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
He just seems like a really cool guy.
In so many ways -- best being that he's not a snob when it comes to sharing good ideas and good sound with the great unwashed (e.g., folks like me) as well as the hoi polloi.
Plus, he's clever and not afraid to tinker and implement crazy, clever ideas.
Ever see the amp design Pass published in (IIRC) audioXpress that used light bulbs as constant current source(s)? Beastly clever and insane (and I mean the latter as a compliment)!
Mentioned, obliquely, in https://www.passdiy.com/project/amplifiers/zen-variations-2
It'd be a treat to get the chance to talk shop with him.

@Hermitism -- can you work on that sometime, you know, while you're resting?

Well done, good and faithful servant.
These will come in handy in the future, I do believe.

Do you have like a dewey decimal system for all your scans somewhere? Or just a massively searchable index of them? And how you do remember all this stuff
I dont know of anyone else that has as complete and readily available scans handy as you lol....."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
