Lifelong MIT fan. Although I stopped after the Magnum series. I can only hear so much. I did however purchase some Oracle jumpers for my Magnepan 3.6R.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
  • Are they still available?

SOLD these are no longer available
  • Got them and hooked them up to my Oppo.
Definitely a difference between this one and the older white colored MIT cable I was using. Better integration between the channels. I have some S1 cables for the left and right and I am using these S2’s for the center and back surround.
    Thanks much John!👍🏾

Try the S2's in place of the older white S1's you have on the fronts (L/R). The newer S2's should (believe they do) have trickle down tech (ie..more poles) as newer designs were released. MIT lineage is sometimes hard to understand but I believe you might find a positive difference. I made a similar switch based on Joe Abrams (MIT reseller) suggestion.

I may have misread what you changed. After rereading it looks like you might already have newer S1's on the fronts?

I already have the S1's on the left and right front yes. I had and an older white MI-330 plus series two for the center channel and a Kimber Hero for the back surround. Now the S2's are on the center and back surround coming off of the multichannel outputs of the Oppo UDP-205.
