Region-Free DVD Player?

Hi! I live in the US and I'm looking to try and expand my collection by purchasing some import DVD/Blu-Rays. I don't have a region-free player, and the ones that I found online all seemed to lack an HDMI compatibility. What players do y'all have/recommend?
My friend at Apknite company has an LG BP175 in his bedroom but I don't find it interesting.
Do you guys have any suggestion?
