Hello everyone:
I need a tweeter for one of my RT55i's...
The part number is SL6506 but I believe Polk has revised that number since these were made. If any one has a spare (I would be willing to buy a pair) for a good, fair price--please get in touch.
I will pay for shipping (of course) if I can't pick it up, and I can pay you via Paypal...
Many thanks for your help...

Sorry for the bump...
Does anyone know if I can use a tweeter say from, an RT35, or RT38, since I believe they are the same components??? --or an RT25???
PS: I know I should be posting this in tech help--sorry...H/K525avr

I don't think that you'll find any of the parts for the 55's.....
Put a call into CS and they can get you pricing. Mention to them (BEFORE YOU ORDER) that you're a Club Polk Member and they will give you a discount.comment comment comment comment. bitchy. -
Polk Audio still carries Tri lam tweeters --
and yes the RT35i uses the same tweeter as the RT55i, baffle and all.
The RT35 and RT55 DO NOT******** use the same tweeter, as the baffle is smaller in that series.
The RT25i does NOT use the same tweeter, no baffle - it uses screws.
Ken will hook you up. Tweeters are pretty expensive though, even with the discount and free second day air. FWIW- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Thanks for your help...I did call CS and it's a whopping $70 (club price) for the tweeter, I was hoping someone would have a spare, and let it go for a better price...
Guess I will have no choice--good sound can be priceyH/K525avr

actually good sound is rather cheap, abusing your speakers is where it gets pricey.
