Just scored some Monitor 10’s w stands

I think they were another gift from God.
Went to an estate sale to look at a snow blower at the end of today’s sale and under a table full of stuff was a set of speakers with stands. So the lady working the sale helped me pull out the table and I saw they said Polk. $25 dollars latter loaded in my truck. They came with original stands? Or custom made. I have had a set before and sold for $250 and I have sevens in my garage system that sound amazing. I should try to keep these. I believe they have the Peerless tweeters too?

Same sale today was 50% off everything they said. Rode my tadpole trike five miles to the sale at seven to be first in line. It was a sheet house but for the 10’s and a kick butt Yamaha snowblower. I got there at eight and was first in line! So I am sitting there and this lady come along. I said hi and she said it was her house. I asked if the Yamaha ran? She said it was hardly used and would not be half off today. I said the sale staff said everything? She said it was her stuff and SHE makes the rules! So in stead of getting it for $650 it was $1300. I was so pissed off. I left before sale even opened. Peace. I've missed some GREAT estate sale items in the past year. I've gone to 2 or 3 in the past few years. All a waste of time pretty much.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
