FS: Sennheiser HD800

For your consideration, is a mint pair of Sennheiser's previous generation top headphone, the HD800. I've owned them for 3 years, but rarely used them except for a two month period last summer while selling my home and my listening space had to be displayed as a bedroom. They come in their original storage case. The HD800 are an open-back model which provides a greater spatial listening experience, however, the wife will hear some of the music as well. To perform at their best a dedicated head amp or high performance internal amp (receiver or integrated) is desirable.

I'm asking $800 (new $1500) plus postage (PayPal only). Average used eBay price for this model is over $1100. Shipping box dimensions are 12x10x16, weight with padding is 10 pounds. Shipping is from zip code 97874 via Fedex. Please include insurance.
