Polk Rti8 speakers with Harman/Kardon AVR130
I just bought the Polkaudio RTi8 to use with my Harman/Kardon AVR130 reciver. What do you guys think about that setup??? Also I didnt really know I have to work in the speakers so I kind of started listening to music at high volumes.. how bad is that for the speakers??

I hope you're not playing your system too loudly because your receiver is a bit underpowered for the 8's at high volumes. In fact, your speakers will sound much better if they were given more juice.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

The H/K 130 will be fine and you didn't do any damage to your speakers, it's an all or nothing kind of thing. However, it's possible that you could fry them if you play them too loud so keep it reasonable.

By "high" volumes, what is the setting of your volume? Are you still in the negative numbers, or have you hit "0" and are running it in the positive numbers?
I thought the H/K receivers can pretty much play un-distorted until the volume level runs out (+15 or so from what I recall.) -

I would not go past 0. just because there is a 10 on old integrateds doesn't mean it can handle that load.
