8/10 on this one, the instrumentals (as anyone who ever saw them live in the 70's will tell you) is fantastic. Very deep bass lines, and extremely well recorded. Steve Walsh (lead singer) does alright through most of the concert, but strains on a couple songs. The violin mike level should have been knocked up a couple notches on the mixing board.
If you're a Kansas fan, don't hesitate. Buy it. This is a 2002 concert, and these old farts still got it in spades!

Wow, your review leaves off a lot of info before I want to buy. Is this disc 5.0, 5.1, 2.0 or what? Dolby digital, LPCM or DTS? Is it film based or video tape based? How is the picture quality, widescreen or fullscreen? I love Kanasas but I will never buy this disc unless it is DTS 5.1.

I'm running 2-channel, let me take a look at it tonight and I'll post the vital stats....it is widescreen, and the picture quality is very good. The music quality is fantastic (at least in 2-channel).

Thanks Steve, I am looking forward to the update. I love Kansas, and if this disc is in any kind of 5.1 surround sound, I am buying me one.

Dolby 2-channel and Dolby 5.1 are the audio choices. Enjoy!Source: Bluesound Node 2i - Preamp/DAC: Benchmark DAC2 DX - Amp: Parasound Halo A21 - Speakers: MartinLogan Motion 60XTi - Shop Rig: Yamaha A-S501 Integrated - Shop Spkrs: Elac Debut 2.0 B5.2
