New competition for PS Audio S300?!

I've been following the recent posts regarding PS Audio's S300/700 amps.

My dream amp (within reason) remains the Parasound A21(+) but with all the good reviews the S300 has gotten, one might be tempted to try a more efficient alternative.

Now comes this:

With Bruno Putzeys as cofounder (and some other heavy hitters from up North) it looks to be promising.

Are they just building the amp module, or, are they also building a complete amp with signal stage, etc?

I’ve only had my S300 for a few days now and have been letting it run 24/7 for the last 2 days to break it in ...

My initial impression is that , so far , it compares very favorably to my A21 ....
Granted , I haven’t done a direct comparison , A21 vs S300 with the Salks yet , but so far I’m impressed ....

My A21 was purchased from the original owner -amp was 2 years old - for $1200 ...
So , what’s better , a $1200 A21 or a $1000 S300 ?
Keep in mind the Salks are a 4 ohm speaker - so S300 is 300 watts at 4 ohms vs A21 400 watts at 4 ohms ...
We shall see .....
