Polkies,

This is the last iteration of cleaning out my closet. Moving for the third time in three years and just pulled this beauty from storage. I bought this off Danny (gerres26) a few years back and used in my two channel setup.

I rate it 9/10. It is in absolutely wonderful shape minus the one scratch on the top of the amp (pictured). This piece is a powerhouse and sounds great.

Comes with a generic power cord. No original packaging but the packaging I have is more than adequate for shipping.

Asking 475 shipped Conus. Located in Newport RI for the next 10 days then moving to NOVA for a few months and then on to Norfolk if anyone wants to meet up along the way for a local sale

    Yup! These don't come up that often. This would be darn near impossible to beat in the sub $500 range for a whole lot of 2-channel power.

    I have the 200.7, and it ain't goin' anywhere!

    Zach's a good guy too. I've bought many items from him and highly recommend him as a top notch seller.

    Zach, you hanging on to the Backert Labs pre, or did you part with that in your other thread?

    The backert is gone. Pretty much everything from my separate system is gone. Just rocking the Ls50W and P6 turntable now. Really loving the minimalistic setup

    And this is a great amp, I expect it to be gone pretty quick! I’d hang on to it if I had any foreseeable use for it

    How does it compare to a Parasound A21? I know the Parasound is a lot more coin.

    Sorry I really can’t comment. I have never had a paramount amp. The b&k ref series’s is very well regarded though.

    I have a late model B&K EX-442 - with the Toshiba outputs and 75 amps of current - basically the same ...
    I also have an A21 ......

    This 200.2 has more current 75 vs 60 ...
    This 200.2 is a fantastic amp - perfect for Sda's....

    Basically a wash ....biggest upside to A21 is they are newer and maintenance free ...offset and bias are self adjusting , and a tad more power ....

    Get it , you can't go wrong

    The is for the comparison. I will also say the inside of this thing looks damn close to new. Very little dust collection and be like so lots and lots of life left in this beast!

    I’m tempted.
    I absolutely love my 442 ..... owned it since new , and besides having the offset and bias adjusted last spring - after 30 years ( one side was running hotter than the other ) , it has been flawless and sounds great !

    Looking at the PS Audio stellar S300 ....
    I have electrical outlet constraints.....
    May have to have an electrician run an additional outlet on a new breaker for me ....
    Have a lot of stuff on one line and don’t want to overload it ...
    I’m under the impression that class AB Amps suck a lot of amperage compared to class D , but I could be wrong ....
    I need to use the pre-outs on the onkyo AVR to power a new amp since it’ll be used in our den which is our main TV room .... I need the functionality of the onkyo’s pre/processor/HDMI port ....

    Adding the B&K 200.7 to my HT set up literally changed my listening life. No idea how/why I went so long without good, clean power. I'm sure you're going to enjoy this addition!
