I haven’t heard the 706c to compare but I love my 704. It blends beautifully with the 705s. What great price on a wonderful speaker.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. If you can wait until Christmas, Adorama will be paying customers $50 to take these out of their inventory. :)

Ordered one to replace my S30. I hope the dialogue will be clearer with it than the S30 when listening to TV and movies. If not I'll send it back.

IIRC correctly, Adorama had that price on some prior occasions but it's a smoking good deal in any event. For just a bit over two bills, with free shipping, and maybe no tax, are you kidding me?

Yes at one time it did.

I have a CSiA6 right now. I wonder if this would blend better with my S60's than the A6.

S60 and a 704C or just stick with my CSiA6

I know, the RTi to signature are different but not as much.

If it's the same cost tomorrow I might order it. Fathers day never know what the room mates have in for me.

Plus I think the csia6 is just a monster center channel...but hey if the cash is burning a hole in ur pocket I would be interested in the comparison!

Yeah good ole cash.... not burning a hole at all. I just have this OCD thing that hits sometime when the question pops in my head "would this be better". At the current cost it is almost affordable.

No meds here. not that bad.

I was just looking at the specs. 704 is 21" wide, not wide enough for my TV stand. Having a smaller speaker in there looks too funny. Now if they drop the 706 to 70% off then I'll go for the LSiM center

I am not sure if it worth $200 to upgrade from cs400i to 704

Or i should just get 706

But 706 is way too big for me

Hmm... I’ve owned both but never compared side by side. My guess is you get slightly more bass and more forward punch with the cs400i, but the midrange is much sweeter with the lsim. I think overall vocal clarity is probably slightly better with the lsim, but it’s hard to say if it’s worth the upgrade. Only one way to find out!!!
