Need help with product selection and surround layout

I am looking to upgrade my current setup (see attached)

I am currently thinking four in-wall/ceiling mounted Polk 65-RTs for fronts and surrounds and a 255C-RT for a center. My problem is that I have a vaulted ceiling and no real space behind or to the side of my seating area . . . Directionality with rear surrounds in the vaulted ceiling are mostly likely going to be a problem that eliminates this tack. I'm looking to find a speaker system in the $500-600 range. I may have to stay with a traditional setup and do a wall and ceiling install with speaker mounts. I do not want to go wireless. Any ideas?
