    Well, UTC was a transformer company, but they did sell some loudspeakers; I don't know if they made them or simply put their name on them; I also don't know if they were US-made or foreign (most likely European, if the latter).

    Here's the only example I have handy -- this is a late 1960s Lafayette Radio Electronics (LRE) catalog page scan.
