    Is this the one that runs really hot? I ask because my other 4 do not run hot at all, they barely get warm after several hours.

    No, it doesn't run hot. I've had several Adcom amps, and they have never even run slightly warm.

    This particular amp is spoken for already by another member, if I come across another, you'll be the first to know.

    Russ, I was asking Sid about his 535. He had made mention about an Adcom running really hot. None of my four 535's run even warm. I'd want to stick with a matching 535 over the MKII.

    My Adcom is the 535, runs two pairs of speakers.

    A/B switch. The very first 535. Not the II, or MK II.

    It runs warm, not really hot.

    I have the original 535 here......

    the same kind you have.

    I have found all Adcoms run 'warm'. The II series runs alot warmer than the originals (IMO) --

    But then again, warm to me might be different to you. Because my old Pioneer Elite receiver ran like 100 degrees.

    The adcoms compared to it are a blessing.

    Russ - I would hate to feel the amps you have if you think Adcoms dont run warm. The 545 you sold me a while back runs 'warm' to me as well.

    Thanks for the offer Sid but unfortunatly, I'm going to have to pass right now. Not something I "want" to do but something I "should" do. Too much outgoing cash right now with the living room remodel.
