I cannot pair my Polk smartbar system Bluetooth to my Bose Quietcomfort 35 II headphones. Is there a secret I don't know about?

I think both your Polk soundbar and Bose headphones RECEIVE Bluetooth - i.e audio streamed from a phone. They are probably not going to talk to each other.
