actually i used to own the 404 (topped off with a 350). IMO it is a great sub for music and some HT. has some bump but not the deeeep bass some people look for. What size room you in? Do you like ALOT of DEEP bass? What will you primarly be using it for HT or Music, both? what fronts, center surr etc do you have. Need to size up what you have and go from there.

You're in Canada. Check out Paradigm, Energy and PSB. We get great deals on them here. Better than Polk when it comes to more bang for your dollar.

I agree with Organ, Paradigm is the way to go if your Canadian. I've got a PW-2200 in my room and it is just amazing. The room is a little smaller than yours but not by much. Even the PW-2100 sounded very good for the money.Main System:
Denon AVR-2805, Polk Audio RTi70's, Polk Audio CSi40, Polk Audio FXi50, Paradigm PW-2200 v.2, Toshiba 42XV545U HDTV
Second System:
Denon AVR-1705, Polk Audio R40, Polk Audio CS245i, Polk Audio R15, Paradigm PS-1200a -
