This is somewhat old news, and since I'm not on the typical social media outlets to share otherwise, I thought I'd post this here.
Some of you may have heard that back in January, there was a (mass) shooting in State College. The shooter took his own life after killing 3 innocent bystanders and critically injuring another.
Police recently completed their investigation and new details emerged about what happened, mostly from testimony from the only survivor.
This one was too close to home (the shooter lived less than a mile from us), and we're trying to help any way we can. Nicole, the survivor, is struggling with her recovery. From her updates on the GoFundMe page, she's not only working on walking again, but she's planning her wedding, moving to a new home, and to top it all, is STILL the primary caregiver for her grandmother. I'm amazed at the strength and generosity of this young woman, and 'neighbor'.
