    It is crazy heavy when done.

    My wife wanted to surprise me at Christmas with mine and didn't know she was supposed to contact Doug for it. :o
    She went through Music Direct. I was very surprised she went to the effort to get it on her own. Love her.

    I ended up going with a VTI dbl wide (like my home) until I can find THE RACK. I'm already counting on having to fo some work initially...sound deadening material and tube fill, probably modding platform material. Hopefully I have better luck than @Clipdat had with his. If not, I'm not out too much.

    I’d love to build my own. I enjoy woodworking and metalworking, just don’t have the time. When I retire though, another project! :smile:

    All in all a very easy build. Rock solid feel, heavy, precision machined posts and interfaces to the shelves, cast metal feet, and spikes! Very happy with my S3 and this is no different. :smile: Again a special shout out to our very own @helipilotdoug for giving Polkies a great deal! :smile:

    One observation, interesting, is that the S3 has rounded corners on the shelves, whereas the S4 does not.
