what crossover to set for Polk Monitor 65T, Signature S35, & TSi100 speakers?
I recently purchased a Onkyo TX-NR787 receiver, and during the calibration process, the age old question arose again, what crossover should I set the speakers to??
My setup is:
Fronts - Polk Monitor 65T
Center - Polk Signature S35
Sorrounds - Polk TSi100
Sub: BIC F12
I use 14gauge wire with banana plugs on the fronts, and 16gauge wire on the rest, im not sure wether that plays any significant influence. In my past receiver (Yamaha V475) had a simpler settings menu (probably from being a bit cheaper and older than the Onkyo) where i set the crossover for all at 80hz, but on the Onkyo i mat designate crossover for each speaker group separate, and thats when I find myself at a loss, as im not too experienced in determining the crossover range for each.
Per tech specs:
65T total Frequency Response: 38Hz →25kHz
Lower and Upper -3dB Limits 48Hz →24kHz
8 Ohms, 20→200 Watts per channel, 90dB sensitivity
TSi100 total Frequency Response: 53Hz → 25kHz
Lower and Upper -3dB Limits 61Hz → 24kHz
8 Ohms, 20→100 Watts per channel, 89dB sensitivity
S35 total Frequency Response: 53Hz→40kHz
8 Ohms, 20→150 Watts per channel, 88dB sensitivity
So what would be the most optimal crossover frequency for me to set for the speakers? please help!

Start with putting on some music and playing with speaker settings. go from large to small and back. on small set them all to 80hz (THX) and hear how it sounds.
For me I have my front 3 at what Audyssey set them to. I did change my surrounds to small and 80hz.When I was a kid my parents told me to turn it down. Now I'm an adult and my kids tell me to turn it down.
