PLEASE READ I am selling my Marantz SA8005 I am the 2nd owner and got this from a dealer I have dealt with for years. The unit is in great physical shape with the exception of one scratch on the top front. See picture Comes with the Marantz system remote, CD ROM owners manual and paperwork and power cord. PLEASE READ This unit does not read SACDs. For me it does not matter as I do not have any. It reads CDs fine but if they are scratched or dirty it may need a 2nd shot at it or go back one track and go back and then it picks it up. I had a new 6006 a couple of years ago that did this also. Point being it does not read SACDs and can be a little picky sometimes on CDs but always comes through. This 8005 is priced at almost half what they go for used so anyway you look at it it is a steal. Not to mention it can also be used as a DAC. One could even send it to Marantz and have it repaired and STILL come out ahead Not sure this is a smart idea but I like doing stupid things See quote from Rockford Files below.. Asking $375 Thanks
