Polk Ultramarine speakers??
I've been looking at these speakers for a roll bar type application. I can't find any info on the Polk site. They are on sale everywhere for about $128 and retail for $1,049! I'd like to know what's up?? What 6x9 speaker is it? Anyone know about these? Are they real Polks? Thanks

I did search for information but didn't find much. That's why I asked here at the Polk forum. Thought you guys might have some experience with them.

No info on the Polk site means they are discontinued.Political Correctness'.........defined

These are incredibly unique speakers. They are 6x9 in a composite enclosure with a compression horn built in! They are made for marine applications like wake boarding/ski boats etc. by ASA Electronics with the speaker/driver made by Polk. They were originally $1,049 a pair. I plan to put a pair in the rear of my convertible Chevy Tracker. Here is the site where I finally found some info.
