Whoa! Thirty Pounds of Striped Bass

“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'

Nice! They'll be here before we know it, usually just schoolies at first but the big ones
are never far behind. Have to recon the beaches soon, can't wait.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

One of my favorite spots, most times you have it to yourself. Hmmm maybe that’s why I never catch anything there?? ;)

striped bass = "rockfish" (in the Chesapeake Bay patois).

Actually -- Large and Smallmouth Bass are in fact biologically speaking (at least, the last I knew) sunfish* , not bass. B)

All three are fun to catch and good to eat, though.

This one was quite a bit more than 30 pounds, but it wasn't from the Potomac.
