So, deactivated my account about a year ago but that did not stop me from accidently downloading a Facebook game card meant for my wife to my account She has not been able to get any info at all about reversing this. I talked to the folks at where I bought this and of course they cant do anything about it...
thoughts please! This was a Xmas gift and it would be nice if she could actually use it...

I would try and email the developer of the game and run down the situation. They should be able to confirm if any of the contents of the card have been used. They might be your best bet. Fb probably wants nothing to do with it.Just a dude doing dude-ly things

Did you deactivate the account, or fully delete it? These are two different options.
If deactivated, you should be able to log in, and your account will resume, and you'll be immediately treated to wonderful drama, and pictures of exotic vacations and peoples' dinners again. You will need your original account login email address, and password, ideally, though I imagine you should be able to reset the password.
If you deleted it, it's probably gone-gone.
Presuming you guys tried logging in already? If so, what was the result?
And that gift card is bound to your old FB account somehow? It's not just an activation key that you can apply to any account?
Some people would pay to be free of FB addiction. Maybe the cost of a game card is a worthy sacrifice?Post edited by msg onI disabled signatures. -
*not meaning to imply there's a FB addiction at play here, just a little social commentary for fun.I disabled signatures.
