SDA CRS question

I have a pair of SDA CRS speakers I bought new in 1985. Well cared for & excellent condition. In each speaker I must a have bad connection internally & need advice on how to fix. I will use my left speaker as the example. The driver & tweeter on right side of the left speaker are not working, if I disconnect them & hookup to the left side of the left speaker they work fine. I have the same issue with right speaker on the right side.

Any suggestions on what I need to do to fix the issue?

Speakers are driven by my NAD 7140 receiver I bought at the same time in 1985. Currently using my backup Polk 7’s until I can figure this out.

Thanks!

The SDA circuit is not working. This is due to either the SDA cable or more likely the socket. Try cleaning the contacts inside the socket and also the blades on the cable.

SDA connectors are the issue. I’ve cleaned the blades, they did have a flim residue on them. Cleaned plugin best I could. They work but dropout intermittently, if I giggle the cable they come back. I will spread the blades slightly like was suggested & hopefully that will solve the issue.
