Thanks for the advice; I'll see how the prices on the 3 & 5 compare. I'll also ask the guy at the store why the freq. responses are listed so wierd in the catalogue.

    Thanks.

Well, let me tell you about my experience with the Paradigm speakers.

Dad played golf this morning and said he'd get baack at about 1:00. After that, he'd take me to Custom Home Hi/Fi to look at and bring home some speakers. Well, after he got home and changed clothes, we left at 3:46 ( ). Before we left, I called. There were two numers listed: one for the home audio section and one for the car audio section. I'm careful to call the home audio number, and I ask 'em when they close: 5.

Well, I can at least get about an hour's worth of talkin' and listenin' in, right? Well, we get there at quarter after four, and the home audio joint is closed; the door says they close at three. We walked over to the car section and they say that the phone is set to ring in the car section after three, and the car audio section stays open until five.

Bummer. Didn't get to hear, see, talk about, much less bring home any speakers. I think I'm just going to go with Klipsch. Somehting about them just lures me to them: their looks, sound, style; everything. Besides everybody there has been so nice and helpful; I just think I'll go for the Klipsch speakers.

Anyhoo, we'll see what I do. I know I won't be disappointed either way, as I haven't developed a discerning ear yet and haven't found any 'harshness' or 'brightness' in the Klipsch stuff.

Sorry to hear that dude. You should try to go there again at least for a demo of the Pdigms so you know how they sound. Take public transportation and if you really dig them, get your dad to give you a ride when he
