    @goatfarmaudio, welcome to Club Polk from someone who’s been here a pretty short time. Thanks for sharing your experience with the new Freya. I’m eventually going to want a preamp with a remote and that sounds interesting

    Looking inside a Schitt and a Cary you'll see the difference. Not in the same neighborhood. If price point is an issue than the Schitt may be sufficient. They have many fans and seem to offer a lot for the money, but, even in their own words they're not trying to say they're the equivalent of brand X or Y, they're just trying to offer a quality sound at a different price point.
