Polk makes the R20 in cherry?

Maybe I'm going crazy, but I was under the impression that Polk only made these, and others in the R series, in black. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Hmmm, wait a second. I seem to recall a review for the R series(R30, R15, and CSi20) in a home audio magazine published in England. Essential Home Cinema maybe? Anyways, they were in a cherry finish, so perhaps my fears have come true, and I really am a dumbass...

    I saw that ad too and was confused. I'd never seen them listed in that finish before, but the box does have the cherry label on it.

    Hmmmm, that is a strange bird....

    Polk's website makes no mention of any R series being offered in Cherry vinyl.

    Maybe it is only available in foreign markets. Or, maybe Cherry was offered early in the R series production run, then later only offered in black. Now, the website only shows black.

    Maybe a Polk employee will chime in & set us straight.

    2 sellers have cherry in these, i wrote one for the heck of it, and they said.. they are cherry and another seller had a set in cherry./. so i dunno, polk doesnt show a cherry.. for what 129.00 in cherry not bad,

    I've been seeing a lot of R50's and R30's popping up on eBay in cherry lately too. And I was surprised myself.

    My R40s are cherry, but my R15s and CSi20 are black, nor have I seen them in cherry.

    do you have a pic of the cherry speakers, all MY HT rti's are cherry and would like to see the R line in cherry....

    Fry's (here in So. Cal) had the R50's in cherry color for $99 each. For some reason, the polk web site only shows black.

    just FYI, it looks like the face is also cherry. they screwed up and used a picture of the front of a black speaker with the 3/4 view of a cherry speaker
