When I had my baby Ushers running in the bedroom at the other house they were sublime! They were even great with my Emo monoblocks. Granted I never ran em on an AVR but that's not it. Theses speakers and AVR are sweet, neither bright at all. I have a too small rug on this drum of a laminate floor. I have sofa and love seat but otherwise this room is a relection monster. I am spoiled , I wanna stay in California cause my systems sound good. jk I would rather drown slowly in a sewer intercept than California.
