Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

I will particularly miss Ken's link to the history of both Polk and the Baltimore area hifi scene.

Hi Ken. I knew this day was coming for a short while and was saddened when I heard the news. Your moderating style is one that should be admired immensely. I don't know whether or not if you know this, but you were my mentor for moderating online forums. For years and years until I adopted your kind, to the point, presentable and professional approach to things.....while at the same time wanting to reach into the computer screen and slap the hell out of some people.

It was your moderating style that I emulated and have been successful with on two other audio forums for quite a few number of years now. Thank you. I have learned a lot from you. I even took your moderating style to create an audio event that is 13 years running now.

It has been common practice for Polk Corporate to ban moderators/admins/folks who assist or help out on the forum. With that said, I hope that this isn't our last communication we have together. I have been trying for years to get you to (in your spare time) join on in with the audio/tape deck discussions elsewhere. I would like to offer that opportunity again to you sir. Just PM me and I will remind you if you are interested.

Getting hit from both sides (PF Members and Corporate) and trying to please both can take its toll on a man and I honestly do not know how you put up with it.

Regardless, God-Speed to you brother. I have enjoyed our conversations over the years.....I only hope we can continue them. Whether here or elsewhere. My hat is off to you tonight, sir.

    Respectfully,

    Tom

Ken is truly a class act. I wish him well. Many thanks for all he's done to keep this forum from collapsing in on itself many times over! He'll be missed. I pity the soul who tries to step into his shoes...

What are the new joiners that have a problem with their 10 year old Polk audio subwoofers going to do now?
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

Good luck to you, and happiness in whatever the future holds. I also hope you
are able to come back here and join in whenever possible; to not share your wisdom
and experience would be a sad thing for everyone on this forum.

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Good luck Ken! Thanks for your many years as a moderator. I also appreciate all the help with my Teac X-2000! These pictures were taken by Ken when he aligned the tape heads and put LEDs into the meters and light bar.
