New to Polk SDA SRS ownership, I absolutely LOVE them. I pulled out crossover to examine them and the caps look pretty good(no leaking), but I have never seen giant spools of wire like the 3 that are on each crossover. Can someone tell me what they do? Also, are the crossovers for the various SRS (1.2, TL, etc) all different or the same? Thank you!

Inductors and all 3 big boy SRS-SDA's have different crossovers.

thank you! Also another question...If I replace the SL-2000 tweeters with the modern Polk replacements do I change anything with the crossovers, or do I leave them stock? Thanks!

First we need to know which speakers you have. Which sda interconnect do you have Blade/blade or Pin/blade.
SDA-SRS and SRS 1.2 would take RD-0194
SRS 1.2TL would take the RD-0198
Without any modifications -
original SDA-SRS
