NICE! About time I hear that some cards are still valuable. Congrats.

I thought my Daryl Strawberry Card would gain value. :s :'( He just couldn't stay away from getting high. He had such potential! Just like that Henderson guy from the Patriots.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

That exact same thing happened to me, only a little different. I got some old Silly Putty from this one time, when I was a kid, and pressed it onto a page in a rare comic I didn't buy at a yard sale. Pretty sure that impression is worth something. Prob’ly even more than the comic. ‘Cause it’s in reverse. An’ it’s still in the original red plastic egg case, too. I’ll sell it?
    I disabled signatures.

LOL! Post of the day! No wonder that never worked well for me when I was a kid, I was using Play-Doh, not Silly Putty. At least it tasted better than Silly Putty. I used to press it against my Mom's Vogue Magazines. I always had a fondness for the ladies. I'll trade you a 1979 Harper's Bizaar for a 1963 The Amazing Spider-Man #1. What do you think? I'll throw in a slinky and a Simon Says that has some battery corrosion inside of it.

It says the listing has ended? So how much was it selling for??
There's a Tim Duncan card for $15500, MJ should be close to that, right?
    I have a NM OJ Simpson card from 1972, that's gotta be worth a buck-3-eighty, no? ;)
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

    Astronomical prices!

I started buying football and basketball cards when there was only a quarterly price guide for them. Late '80s. I had 18 Montana rookie cards, 6 Jerry Rice rookies, Jordan's second year cards and his rookie stickers, and a double set of 1980/81 basketball cards in mint, all of which I got dirt cheap.

They were all sold off over time. Wish I had some of them and my Marvel comics collection back.

Those bids were a joke and the listing was probably pulled by Ebay. No one will really pay a half million on a card that was graded as altered and might not even be real.

I have a 1960s vintage Fisher-Price xylophone that still has the yellow plastic pull-cord attached to it. I'll trade it for any unopened box of 1960s Kaboom cereal as long as it has a FREE TOY SURPRISE INSIDE.

I think a box of Booty O's or Funk Os brings a higher price....
  • I have 3 pairs of Joan of Arc's skivies that I'm pretty sure are worth mucho dineros.
I should probably put them on Ebay and see what I can get for them.

I used to have one of those as well!! Not autographed to you, of course, cuz that would be weird, and outside of my budget.

I don’t think it could survive being chiseled out of your cave wall, and the bat dung damage over the centuries ain’t doing you no favors either.
