Very low hours on OPPO 205. Sound is thin and shrill. Help on burn-in ...

Problem is, the amps and pre are tubed.
Last night, I went to bed with the rig playing and also today when I left for several hours.
I am not comfortable doing this.
I hate not being present when the tubed system is in operation.

I'm gonna let the rig burn-in one more night/over-night. But that's it!

Any suggestions on accelerating the run-in process when amp and pre are too based??

Just play the Oppo, and leave the amps off.

After this much time with NSD . . . in a word "no contest"

The end game is not for the OPPO to do 2 channel
    I just wanna run her-in, quick-like

Funnily enough I had a client come over yesterday and we tested out a few dacs. He told me the Supremo was making him consider getting out of the analog game.
Don't show him my setup. :p Has me thinking about getting out of digital.

I’m hesitant to get into vinyl because I know it’ll be a five figure investment.

I know there are setups that are several orders of magnitude more than I have in my setup, but the law of diminishing returns has been found where I am at. It would need to be one hell of a digital setup to touch this. There are some very good brands out there for you to get involved with. ClearAudio being one of them.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
