LSiM 706c question....

I have been hesitant to ask for obvious reasons, but here goes.

I have had my system set up for years in the current configuration with the basic track shelving and wood shelves. A while ago, @MrBuhl gave me a GREAT deal on the LSiM706c center and I put this on the shelf where I had my previous center (much smaller and MUCH lighter). Fast forward a couple years probably and I came home the other night met at the door by my wife......she had a look of concern on her face. She said, "Before you go in there, just know that we found it that way." I was assuming the worst thinking the hot water heater flooded or a pipe burst. But NOTHING could prepare me for what I saw next. My 706c had pulled the shelving out of the wall and crashed to the floor after hitting a brand new TV stand that I bought after Christmas. Probbly a result of the cats jumping on top of it to get to the window. It took a huge chunk out of the stand, damaged the cabinet of the speaker and worst of all somehow the woofers had fallen out of the cabinet due to the screws pulling straight out of the cabinet and stripping the holes (I assume this was from the impact of the weight and gravity).

I tested the connections and everything SEEMS to work OK. I repositioned the woofers and rotated a bit to put new holes for the mounting screws......SEEMS to have done the job. But every time I look at it now I can't get that horror scene out of my head - hahahaha. I have since bought a new stand (salamander) and the speaker rests on top with a non slip grip pad underneath it.

Is there a way to test the speakers with a multimeter or something to make sure all of the connections are properly working? Just want to make sure the internal are operating at spec and that all drivers are operational.

I wish I took pictures - when I went downstairs I collapsed to my knees and questioned the Almighty as to why this would happen to me. When I saw it, I went into full blown surgery mode to fix it as soon as possible.

In all seriousness, there are only a few noticeable blemishes.....the bottom of the cabinet took the brunt of it. A couple chips in the wood and nothing substantial to the woofer area......I will take pictures later but don't have any of the gory details.
