MW 6600 Mid-Bass Drivers

Hey Everyone...Was wondering if I could substitute a MW6600 Mid Driver in place of a MW 6500, and would the crossover's need re-worked? These are for the Monitor 10A's.

Polk to my knowledge has not released the specs on the MW6500 to my knowledge. I do know that the MW6600 and MW6501 share several of the same speakers and used the same XO to my knowledge. this is what they released on the MW6501.

    MW 6501 1.47 5.96 N 3.25 E - 3N/M 7.75 Ohms 31 Hertz

My SDA1 signatures came from the factory with both MW6600 and MW6501 in the speakers. Later versions of the SDA1a came with all MW6501. Those speakers were considered a 4ohm load because of the way the drivers were configured in the speakers.

    hope this helps
