    The original 535 will do 78wpc continuous before the wheels shoot off. This is an original Nelson Pass design, and without a doubt the best sounding from the GFA series, and received many an accolade in it's time.

    78? Wow -- the Series II -- I would swear they reall down-graded that thing - the original runs cooler, by a lil bit - but with Adcom that is a big deal. It also has a sweeter sound to it, and I havnt found a way to clip it yet. Very nice amp, I hate to unload all these amps - I've lost 3, one wasnt mine, in the past month or so.

    Sid, not trying to highjack your thread man. You talk of your adcoms running hot, mine has yet to get over luke warm and thats after a good run with volume at a good clip. Of course I only have one in the cab with about a good 8 inches of clearance above it, guess I just answered myself.:D
