Monitor 7 Peerless Tweeter Question

For some reason, I cannot attach an image of a speaker pair I may buy. Let me ask the question without the image. The tweeter looks like the Peerless but it does not have a hole burned in the center of the dome. I think some of the early SL1000s looked similar to the Peerless from what I've read. Do all Peerless have the hole?

The SL1000 had a silver surround plate, whereas the Peerless was black.
They did look the same.
I have been told the some few of the earliest Peerless did not have the hole. -
this is an SL1000

Thanks, Tony. I've always thought of the SL1000 as being silver colored, but I have an old Polk brochure from about 1980 that shows speakers with tweeters that look like the Peerless, but in the text they call them SL1000. I'm wondering if they were just referring to the Peerless with hat terminology or if early SL1000s looked similar to the Peerless.
