DCM Time Windows

Not really sure I want to sell these, :'( especially after the complete overhaul I did to these last year, ( https://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/181707/dcm-time-window-overhaul#latest) but I am not really using them and I need to thin the herd. They are early Time Windows and have the serial numbers stamped in the wooden bases, 1482 and 1484. They have Phillips drivers. One of the 6" drivers in each enclosure had to be rebuilt and the dust cover don't match the originals. The wood tops and bottoms have been refinished and are in beautiful shape. The new foam socks are velcroed in place so removal is easy. These will be for pick up only. I would be willing to drive 100 miles to meet and drop off. I am approx 50 miles south of Chicago. $700

These are superb loudspeakers and also surprisingly sensitive.
Anyone who likes the classic Polk Monitor sound will love the original timewindows, I'd opine -- i.e., I do.

Small footprint and very attractive -- great WAF ;)

This is a rare opportunity. GLWTS! :)

    EDIT:

    1) Hope I'm not out of order for posting this.
    2) Is that a CR-1020 or CR-2020 I espy behind the one on the right?

Hey there Mr Hardy. Yes, the Time Windows are great speakers. The Yammy on the shelf is a pristine re-capped CR 2020. The TW's are hooked to it at this time as is the Dual 1219 tt.

A very good combination (the Yamaha and the timewindows, that is).

Agree wonderful speakers and these are in beautiful shape! I have a set of the TW-3s. The soundstage and imaging on these is as good as anything you will find outside of SDAs. They are a pleasure to listen to and just sound right! GLWTS!

I've owned two pair in my life and LOVED them both. I don't own any now but maybe some day if I reclaim my space, I'll put a set in my stable AGAIN for sure!
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

You haven't seen my latest pictures of my interior spaces I think.

I still haven't listed anything for sale yet. I'm closer to doing it though. ;)

I can tell you from experience, the quicker you get them up the quicker they’ll go. ;)
Seriously though, get them listed and I’m sure that things will begin to sell! I was surprised by how (most) of my stuff went... I mean, one guy literally took 3 pairs of speakers...
Edit: I’m sorry, I totally missed that this is a FS thread. I’ll look before I post in the future.

I think your post was OK.

If I sell my stuff FAST like you're saying might just happen if I list the things, then I'll want these Time Windows faster and sooner than later. So we all win!. ;)
