Super Dave also appeared on The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.
One of his bits was so simply stupefyingly stupid that ..... well, it pegged the laugh-so-hard-it-hurts-your-ribs meter high.
It was about a 2-minute bit.
The curtain would part and Super Dave, along with 2 other fellows, would come on stage.
They were wearing Army/National Guard uniforms while carrying what looked like Daisy Red Ryder BB guns.
They "marched" around the stage for those two minutes in a Clogging/Irish jig kind of style.
One of the most basic, most stupid things I've ever seen, yet was so GD funny that I was almost tempted to you-know-what in my pants as a tribute to the genius of it all.
I've never been able to find a video of that skit since. Life isn't fair sometimes.
