Hi, I have a very clean 1200II for sale. Sounds really nice with any speaker I plugged into it.
Note:
-Speaker relays will need cleaning at some point, occasionally left Chanel drops off at very low volume, common issue and easy to resolve.
Sounds and looks great! I’ll pm more pics upon request.
Asking $400, item is located in Brooklyn, NY

Correct, the other components are not included! The amp sounds beautiful.
Cleaning the relays is an easy task, If you look at the open unit photo, they're located in the back of the unit, the 2 rectangular black boxes, for right and left channel.
As I observed, this would be one way to do it:
1- Remove top and bottom cover
2- Disconnect grey signal cable plugs from left and right power amp to relay board.
3- Release left and right ground black wires soldered to the star ground point in bottom of the unit.
4- Unscrew back of the unit to access the speaker connector hex nuts (4) that old the board into place.
5- With the board out will be easy to remove the relay caps clean. The best way to clean it too pass paper embedded with deoxit a few time between contacts.
Amp off, off course! Do not use sand paper as this will screw up the contacts plating.
New relays can be purchased from Parasound, inexpensive. Although, I think it's unnecessary.
I hope this helpsPost edited by cortico on -

I’ve always loved the way their components matched. I’m very proud of my HCA-1500a and will probably always have itHome theater:

Agreed, This amp sounds really good, it’s very pleasing to hear in general. I had it paired with the PHP850 preamp, which is another sweet deal, I what a sweet combo!
It was a big improvement over my vintage Marantz rig, I was blown away with the way bigger width and depth of soundstage, the bass detail and definition is impressive.
I got so hyped that I imidiatly chased the top of the line models... -
This amp is still around, $325 shipped. It's a lot of amp for the price!
Can't believe I am selling this for less than the Marantz 1060, -
