Is there anyone out there other than me still using their RTA12B speakers? If so, I would like to hear from you. Has anyone upgraded the internal wiring or the capacitors in the crossover network of these speakers, and if so with what results?

Can. Bob- I have M12 series 2, which I rewired the inside of 1 pair. I didn't touch the crossover they sound fine the way they are. The rewire of the one pair made a slight difference but not enough to do the rest. Since the signal gets split into 1 tweeter and 4 mid drivers, it is not really degrdated IMO. I would quess Polk's too. The one thing which did annoy me was the black and white wirers made no difference as to pos. or neg.. This gets very confusing if not marked when replaceing anything, more in the M7s and lower. I had to trace the wirers backto the crossver to see which they were. I did remove the clips whch conect the wire to the drivers by useing solder. Which did make an improvment.
