ahh! So he was with them way back in the Superscope/Chatsworth, CA days?!

He stuck with 'em through the dark days when the brand belonged to Philips?!?

Unboxing photos of my new Marantz SA-KI Ruby.

It's quite stunning. Also it's very heavy, at just under 40lbs (37.7lbs).

Beautiful piece of gear! Congrats and enjoy!

It's actually not dust, as those photos were taken within minutes of it being unboxed. It's just uneven surface and/or bits of material from the CNCing/laser cutting process or whatever they used to make that engraved signature.

Did you chose the cover for the SA 15S1 or the CD6006, or did you give them your dimensions, I assume the SA 15S1 cover will fit my SA15S2, for 24.99 it's worth a shot, what fabric is yours there are quite a few to choose from?

I gave them the dimensions in the order comments. Normally their tolerance is .5" for a easy fit, however I've requested .25" tolerance in the past. If you need to email them they reply quickly and provide good service.

To answer your question, the fabric I chose is "Doublesided Quilted Black Nylon".

Nice to know I'm going to look into one for my Oppo 205. It's not nearly as sexy as that beast but it does sit exposed to dust.
