What constitutes good sub placement? Is there a general rule or is it all subjective based on the nature of the structure? I usually see peoples subs in the front of their systems in the showcase...

hahahaha.....
I've has mine against the wall halfway between me and the TV on the left side. Something tells me it would be better next to the TV, but i'm not sure.
