Hello,
Very much not an audiophile, so please forgive my ignorance. ;-)
I have what I think is Polk’s first sound bar and a 505 sub. Recently moved, and for several reasons, looking to change my configuration. Previously, I connected everything via a Denon AVR. The old Denon crapped out but the Polk’s are going strong. I’d love to have it setup this way:
Both Xfinity X1 box and Apple TV audio go directly to sound bar and sub and video goes directly to TV.
Is this possible or advisable? Sorry for my ignorance.

Hello,
Does your soundbar have a power cord attached? If not your soundbar is not self amplified and would require another AVR to provide power. -
Ah. No, it does not have a power cord, so a new AVR (or a new soundbar) it is. Thanks!

You're welcome, there should be lots of good quality receivers on sale now. You might want to check with the Crutchfield company online.
