Right clearly it has been opened as the tape is missing yet the seller chose to NOT show the actual item smells like fish to me. @verb maybe a little due diligence on your part. Look at the negative feedback on the account before posting for others here. If you would have you clearly would of seen where another poster had left a google Carissa Jannotti and see before you get ripped off.....

Now I may understand why the box looks like it got tossed out of a car.

On July 10, at about 8:30 p.m., Stone Harbor Police responded to a call from an employee of a store on 96th Street. Told that another employee was tailing two suspected shoplifters, police stopped two women at 94th and Third Avenue.

The two were mother and daughter, Shelly Santos, 47, and Carissa Jannotti, 18, both of Maybrook, N.Y. They were in possession of numerous shoplifted items. Santos had also been seen attempting to discard items behind houses as the store employee followed.
A car belonging to Santos had been issued a ticket on 95th Street. Police, using a search warrant, entered the vehicle and found over a hundred items believed to have been shoplifted from various stores and valued at over $700.
The two were indicted for shoplifting, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy, all in the third degree as well as with hindering apprehension, a fourth degree crime. The latter charge was for concealment and destruction of evidence as Santos discarded items. .

I'm OK with that my friend :) It's hard to get a negative on that site anymore, so when I see less than 100% feedback they mostly earned it. So when Ebay lets it stand with what that poster said I investigate. Now I'm not saying they were convicted BUT still looks REAL REAL BAD .....

EBay scrubs a lot of the negative feedback anymore. I had a seller who deserved it in spades yet eBay remove it from their feedback because they refunded my money after a ton of horse hockey....

Hey thanks for the heads up. As always, each buyer has to do their homework. Normally I don't do a police record search on a seller. Google, background check, or otherwise. I do look at the feedback and make a judgement. Have I bought from those with less than 100% - yes. Some of the negative feedback IMO is contrived, but certainly deserves caution.

Hey Doc. Sorry about the Pioneer. Dogg made a good catch. But I can say, there’s a plethora of those on the bay!

The Pioneer was of no interest to me for myriad reasons.
The Yamaha... well... you know... I have this thing about Yamaha equipment.
    A certain... nonlinearity. :)

I think i am going to keep an eye out for one with nicer cosmetics.
The funny thing is that I could actually use one... it looks pretty cool (and I'd never seen one before this thread)!
