Would y'all use cinder blocks on top of cheap stands to get some bookies to a more optimal height on some cheap stands? If not what would be good to get em 4 to 6 inches higher? No WAF to consider.

There ya go.Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

The stands are weak and the bookies not too heavy so I was thinking on top of the stands. Now ya got me thinking a paver sandwich. Above below and on top . Cool -

Don't do that Bruce. Putting the weight towards the top of cheap stands is a disaster waiting to happen.
Stack the pavers if you like, but keep them all on the bottom and the stands on top of those.
Another cheap option, is plant stands, or columns. Most plant stands are roughly 30 inches high, sit on 4 legs, and are pretty stable. Of course you can always look for better stands on Craigslist or FB marketplace.HT SYSTEM-

Here is what I did. Between the floor and brick and between the brick and the speakers I have cork and rubber anti vibration pads. Two of these bricks front to back.

I had some granite slabs made, not to expensive, put some felt pads on the bottom so it makes the speakers easy to move... Spikes from speakers to the slab- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

The Movie Room is mine anyway I like it. Of course that would never fly in the living room! -
Just get a bean bag for listening chair. Then the stands you have will work.

Well... I was thinking one could pry up a few floorboards, cut some joists and, you know, sink the chair a little bit.
