Are these things worth it? I just got a completely new office and since I have enough gear leftover to build another system, I decided to add a smaller tubed rig on the desk that has only my tried and true Jolida JD100 and my new laptop as a source.

Today I just ordered a male 3.5mmm audiophile cable from the computer to RCA male jacks to go into the pre. I figured that the KISS philosophy worked just as good with digital sources.
