If they were to remake the movie, I think Kaley Cuoco (Penny) would be a perfect fit for playing Susan George (Dirty Mary)

Saw this for the first time about a year ago.
Maybe not getting it as it was far before my time, but what appeal does it hold?. I mean people rob a store then ride through a huge crop of trees to elude the police.....And talk some here and there to each other....
Is there something deeper I did not get? (serious) -

Ah, is that it? I had the displeasure of sitting through 2 episodes of that back-to-back at a friends house.
I don't remember her but I remember there was another girl on that show who had her own show when she was a kid.
And what I thought was a straight dude playing a g a y dude but was actually a g a y dude playing a straight dude. -
