Need some advice on buying a new pair of speakers and amp

Hello audiophiles, I have planned to buy a pair of speakers and amp for my bedroom which is quite small, 11x11 feet. Budget is around $800. For now I have decided on Polk's S55 and Emotiva A-100 which is 50 wpc. Am I making a good choice? I also considered Q acoustics 3050i and Onkyo A-9010.

Please advice.
